Woman struck and killed by SUV Driver while jogging in Queens

March 13 2024 QUEENS New York – A woman in her 50s jogging was struck by an SUV driver on 32nd Avenue and Clearview Expressway early this Thursday morning.

Police say the victim was jogging in Bayside Queens at about 6:30 a.m., when the driver of a Toyota Highlander crashed into her on the crosswalk, leaving her sneakers thrown across the road.

Neighbors rushed to her rescue, performing CPR as they attempted to save the woman’s life. She was rushed to Presbyterian-Queens where she succumbed to her injuries.
