8-Year-Old Boy Killed, 10-year-old Injured after Truck Goes Around Stopped Car at Queens Intersection: Wtiness

March 13, 2024 QUEENS, New York – Two children were struck and one killed after being a truck driver hit them at an intersection of  100th St and 31st Ave in East Elmhurst Queens shortly before 4:30pm on Wednesday afternoon.

Police say an 8-Year-Old boy has died and a 10-year-old is at the hospital following the crash.

Witnesses said that a car was stopped to let pedestrians by, when another car drove around them, hitting two children and killing one of them.
