HEAVY Clashes With NYPD Outside Manhattan Synagogue ‘Land Sale’ event During Anti-Israel Protest
May 5, 2026 — Manhattan, New York. About 100 protesters gathered roughly a half-block from Park East Synagogue on East 67th Street Tuesday night, clashing with NYPD officers stationed at barricades around the building, according to the New York Post.
Demonstrators waved Palestinian flags and banged drums while chanting “Palestine will never die” and “Stop the sale of stolen land.”
The 7 p.m. protest was organized by Pal-Awda NY/NJ, which promoted the rally with slogans including “No settlers on stolen land” and “Stop the sale of stolen Palestinian land,”The event inside the synagogue promoted real estate in Israel and the West Bank.
Police barricades sealed off the East 67th Street synagogue.
Video published by FreedomNewsTV showed officers shoving the crowd back onto the sidewalk while yelling “step back” as protesters pressed against the barriers.
