Protest Erupts Amid Federal Immigration Raids in Charlotte NC

November 15 2025 CHARLOTTE, NC – A large crowd gathered at First Ward Park downtown Saturday afternoon, speaking against the surge of federal immigration-enforcement actions across the city.

Hundreds of protesters, carrying banners, chanting slogans such as “F*ck Trump!” and “No more ICE!”, marched through Uptown following reports that Federal Agents Enforcement had begun detaining individuals in neighborhoods across Charlotte.

“Right now is not a good time to go out, immigrants or Hispanics” spoke Vanessa, Charlotte NC resident after federal agents detained multiple people in local neighborhoods.
