“I’m Just Doing My Job!”: Delivery Worker’s Shouting Match With Pro-Palestine Protesters near UNGA
September 23, 2025 MANHATTAN, New York – Pro-Palestine activists from the group Within Our Lifetime staged a demonstration outside the United Nations headquarters as the 80th UN General Assembly convened in Manhattan.
Protesters gathered along Second Avenue chanting “Shame on you!” as diplomats walked to and from the UN building.
The rally was organized under the banner “Flood the UN General Assembly,” a campaign by Within Our Lifetime to confront world leaders during the diplomatic week.
At one point, an Amazon delivery worker clashed with protesters in the crowd, shouting “Suck my d***! Hurry up! Hurry up!” and “I don’t care about none of this, I’m trying to do my job!” NYPD officers quickly moved in and diffused the situation.
Later in the day, protesters confronted a livestreamer outside the UN, shouting “Get Kirked b***h!” and “Charlie Kirk died of fentanyl overdose.”
