Family Tragedy: Four Found Fatally Shot in Bronx Apartment
November 5 2025 BRONX, New York – Four people were found dead inside a New York City Housing Authority apartment in what police are investigating as a murder-suicide.
The NYPD responded shortly before 9:30 a.m. to the Castle Hill Houses on Lacombe Avenue in the Castle Hill section of the Bronx. Officers discovered two men and two women inside the apartment, all with gunshot wounds. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
According to police sources, the victims included a 75-year-old mother, her 26-year-old daughter, the daughter’s boyfriend, and the daughter’s 44-year-old father. Investigators believe the father shot his mother, daughter, and her boyfriend before taking his own life.
The medical examiner’s office will determine the official causes of death. The investigation remains ongoing.
