Brooklyn Shooting: 42-Year-Old Man Killed, Second Victim in Stable Condition
August 3, 2025 – BROOKLYN, New York –
A 42-year-old man was killed and another man injured in an early morning shooting on Glenmore Avenue in Brownsville, within the 73rd Precinct.
Police responded to a 911 call at approximately 12:35 a.m. and found two men with gunshot wounds. A 41-year-old man sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his legs, while the 42-year-old victim had been shot in the stomach.
Both were transported by EMS to One Brooklyn Health–Brookdale University Hospital. The 42-year-old man was pronounced dead, while the 41-year-old is listed in stable condition.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation remains ongoing. The identity of the deceased is being withheld pending family notification.
