Arson Investigation Underway After Hackensack Police Cars Torched in Overflow Lot

A suspicious fire damaged multiple police vehicles Saturday night in Hackensack. The blaze erupted around 8:10 p.m. at 78 Trinity Place, a municipal overflow parking area for law enforcement vehicles.

Officials say that all cars were unoccupied, and no injuries were reported. Authorities, including the Hackensack Police and Fire Departments, and units from the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, are treating the incident as potentially intentional.

Investigators continue to probe, but no motive, suspect, or further details have emerged.
