13-Year-Old Boy Shot near Police Station in East Harlem – NYC
October 02, 2025 MANHATTAN, New York – A teen boy was injured in a reported shooting near a police station house in East Harlem on Wednesday afternoon.

At approximately 4:08 p.m., police in the 23 precinct responded to an assault in progress and located a 13-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the left shoulder outside of the Washington Houses NYCHA Building.
The injured teen was rushed to NY Presbyterian Hospital for further treatment.
The shooting incident occurred just across the street from the NYPD 23 precinct house near E 102nd St & 3rd Ave in East Harlem.









No arrests at this time. Police are searching for a suspected gunman wearing a black T-shirt and a black medical mask with short hair as the investigation continues.
