Two Dead after Head On Crash by Wrong Way Driver on Belt Parkway – BROOKLYN

April 11 2023 BROOKLYN, New York – Two people are dead after a driver going the wrong way on Brooklyn Belt Parkway crashed head on into another car, police said.

Incident reported shortly before 1 a.m., early Tuesday morning, of a man in an SUV driving the wrong way on the westbound side of Parkway, near exit 11,officials confirmed.

A 54-year-old driver of Infiniti QX4 struck several cars as he drove the wrong way, before colliding head-on with a Nissan Altima, driven by a 79-year-old victim.

79-year-old male victim and 54-year-old man were rushed to a local hospital where both were pronounced dead, police said.
