Tractor Trailers Crash on I-95 in New Rochelle Dumping Hundreds of Gallons of Diesel

May 07, 2022 | NEW ROCHELLE, NY: Two tractor trailers and a car collided on I-95 Southbound in New Rochelle, dumping hundreds of gallons of diesel fuel onto the roadway and storm drains.

The incident occurred between the Center Avenue Bridge and Crescent Avenue. All lanes blocked. Traffic was backed up for miles with all Southbound lanes. A heavy smell of diesel perfumed the area.

New Rochelle Fire Fighters and New York State Police responded to the major accident scene shortly before 7:22 am.

No information on injuries.
