Man killed, another injured in Brooklyn barbershop shooting

May 06, 2022 | BROOKLYN, NY: One man was killed an another injured in a shooting at Brooklyn Barber shop early Friday night, in Brownsville.

Police responded to a shooting at 557 Chester Street in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn around 9:30pm. Upon arrival, police confirm that two men were shot, one man was shot in the leg while the additional male victim was shot in the chest area, police said.

A 45-year-old man was struck in the chest and later died at the hospital. The second victim, a 28-year-old male, was treated for a gunshot wound to his left leg. He’s expected to survive.
