Three People are Dead, Two Officers Injured after Suspect Stabs Multiple People, Sets Basement on Fire – QUEENS

December 03, 2023 QUEENS, New York – Four people are dead and two officers are injured while responding to arm suspect in Far Rockaway this morning.

Police found 3 people stabbed to death and a basement of the home set on fire on 467 Beach 22nd street. Suspect is in critical condition.

According to early information, police responded to an armed suspect scene in Far Rockaway Queens around 5:20am, suspect stabbed multple people including 2 cops, then set the basement on fire.

This information is preliminary and might change as this story is developing.

Earlier in the night around 3:50am, a man was shot in the left leg near 116th Avenue and 122nd Street, just behind Epic Lounge.

The 23-year-old victim was transported by EMS to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition, according to police.

Late in the evening on December 2nd, NYPD responded to a SPA at 123-21 Jamaica Ave in Queens for a male shot. According to police radio transmissions, officers were told the victim was shot after gunfire came through a wall.

The victim was rushed by EMS to an area hospital with heavy bleeding.

No arrests at this time. Police are searching for a black male suspect in connection to the shooting.
