Thousands chant “For Charlie!” at Candle Light Vigil for Charlie Kirk in Seaford NY

September 13 2025 Seaford, Long Island: Thousands gathered at the Seaford Long Island Rail Road station on Saturday night to honor conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated in Utah earlier this week.

American flags and candles stretched across the crowd as attendees chanted Kirk’s name and sang patriotic songs. “We are here to celebrate the life of the avatar of a generation. He gave motivation to so many young people all over this country.”

Organizers vowed to continue supporting Kirk’s organization, Turning Point USA, and carry on its mission.
