Police Rescue 20 Kittens from a Freezing Van on Upper East Side

November 25 2023 MANHATTAN, New York – A van full of cats was left parked on the UES Street overnight on East 63rd street and 1st Avenue, as temperatures continued freeze.

Officers from the 19th precinct, rushed to their rescue, saving cats and little kittens from the van with Vermont license plates.

Police were called around 5am with a caller reporting possible animal cruelty situation.

All the cats Animal care and control for examination, no information on charges or possible adoption available yet.
