“People were jumping out the window” – Two Killed in Heavy Fire at a Manhattan Home – Harlem

November 25 2023 MANHATTAN, New York – Two people have died and two others are left injured after a fast moving fire burned through a Harlem home.

Fire broke out on West 132 Street and Lenox Avenue around 11:30pm, as residents watched the flames they feared that roof was going to collapse.


Fire broke out in a 4 story brown stone, quickly spreading and trapping residents “People were jumping out the window” a witness described harrowing scene.

Police say three people were pulled out of the home, two died and two other injured victims are at a local hospital.
