February 02, 2024 – MANHATTAN, New York: Multiple pro Palestine protesters were arrested outside Columbia University during a protest and march on Friday afternoon.
The pro Palestinian group gathered outside Columbia University and not on the grounds in response to a previous rally in which they claim they were attacked by “skunk spray.”
The rally, was called “All Out for Palestine at Columbia University” and began at W 116th and Broadway at 3pm.

A small group of about 50 protesters split from the original protest and continued marching on Broadway where they were met with arrests by NYPD SRG unit near W 107th St & Broadway in Manhattan NYC.

Around 5 to 6 people were arrested, including a protester that could be seen carried into a police wagon for jail transport. The protester is then later removed by SRG officers and taken to an ambulance for treatment after expressing to officers that he couldn’t breathe and was possibly injured.
The small group of remaining protesters had a stand off with officers while chanting “Fuck Eric Adams and Free Palestine” but eventually dispersed for a second time.
