Motorcyclist Killed in Hit and Run on Southern State Parkway – LONG ISLAND

June 02, 2023 LONG ISLAND, New York – A motorcyclist was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver on the Southern State Parkway shortly after midnight. Police responding to a collision near Exit 15 S at South Corona Avenue located the gravely injured motorcycle rider.

Reportedly the motorcycle rider was allegedly struck by the driver of a BMW who did not stop to render aid to the critically injured biker.

The BMW driver was reported fleeing west bound away from the fatal scene. Police officials pronounced the motorcyclist dead on arrival.

The investigation into the deadly incident is ongoing as detectives are searching for the fleeing BMW driver.
