“It’s a miracle that we found his body” – 14 year-old Drowned on Far Rockaway Beach

July 2 2023 QUEENS, New York – “It’s a miracle that we found his body” – A teenager was pulled out of the water on the Far Rockaway Beach after drowning in 15 feet of water.

Police say a 14-year-old who was swimming near Far Rockaway Beach, drowned around 6pm, police said.

FDNY rushed to the scene on 73rd Street and Shore Front Parkway on Sunday evening.

Teen was rushed to a local hospital where he died, officials confirmed.
