27-Year-Old Man Fatally Shot in the Head – BRONX

February 11th, 2023 – Bronx, New York – Detectives are investigating the shooting death of a 27-year-old man found shot near a car riddled with bullets in the Parkchester section of the Bronx early Saturday morning, police said.

According to police, just after 5:00am, 43rd Precinct officers responded to 911 calls of a person shot at 1556 White Plains Road. Officers arrived and found a 27-year-old man with a serious gunshot wound to his head.

The victim was rushed by EMS to Jacobi Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, officials said.

The victim has yet to be named publicly, pending proper family notification.

No arrests have been made and the investigation into the deadly Bronx shooting remains ongoing.
