16-Year-Old Boy Shot Dead During Altercation After Exiting Bus in Jamaica – QUEENS

March 26, 2025 QUEENS, New York – A 16-year old boy was shot after getting off bus during a physical altercation Wednesday afternoon in the Jamaica neighborhood in Queens.

The victim reportedly exited a bus where he allegedly got into a verbal dispute that turned violent when the suspected gunman opened fire striking the victim and gravely wounding them.

According to police officials, the 16 year old boy was found with a gunshot wound to the torso and rushed by EMS to Jamaica Hospital in Critical condition where he died from his injuries.

The deadly incident occurred around 2:40pm, near 171st St & Liberty Ave in Jamaica, Queens. At this time there are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
