11-month-old Baby Dies from Furnice Steam Leak at Brooklyn Home

January 19 2024 BROOKLYN, New York – A tragedy occured on friday morning at a Brooklyn home. An 11 month old baby boy has died after suffering burns from a furnice steam leak while home with his mother, according to sources.

Emergency personnel found the child unresponsive, in the bathroom of a home on 14th street and Ave I in Brooklyn, around 6am.

Child was rushed to the local hospital and pronounced dead.

Investigation is ongoing.
