Woman killed by stray bullet while inside her bedroom in Queens

On Wednesday, September 30, just after midnight, 911 was called of an unconscious female inside her 34 Avenue apartment in Queens

Police discovered 43-year-old female with a gunshot wound to the head. She was pronounced dead.

Bertha was hit with a stray bullet while inside her bedroom. She was discovered in a pool of blood by her 14-year-old child.
