Woman and a Baby Struck by Car Driver in Coney Island, Brooklyn
June 19th, 2021 – Brooklyn, NY: At approximate 10:30 p.m. in the evening, in Coney Island, Brooklyn, at the intersection of Surf Ave. and 16th Street police responded to a pedestrian struck incident.
A 24-year-old suspect attempted to steal a vehicle, inside was a driver along with two children, two years old and 18 months old, said cops. Suspect put the vehicle in reverse, striking a 40-year-old woman, according to police .
The suspect was arrested days earlier for stealing another vehicle, the baby and another woman were not injured.
A woman waa taken to hospital with female victim being in critical condition at this time.
