May 29 2025 MANHATTAN, New York – “Why are agents covering their faces?” –  Rep. Dan Goldman SLAMS ICE and DHS outside NYC’s Ted Weiss Federal Building.

Earlier today, Rep Goldman tried filming DHS agents in the public lobby of ICE Headquarters – they tried to stop him.

“This is Gestapo-like behavior” he said during a press conference.

On May 30 2025 X, formerly Twitter, account of Homeland Security posted a statement: “It is absolutely sickening for Congressman Goldman to compare ICE law enforcement agents to the Nazi Gestapo.

When our heroic law enforcement officers conduct operations, they clearly identify themselves as law enforcement while wearing masks to protect themselves from being targeted by known and suspected gang members, murders, and rapists.

Attacks and demonization of our brave law enforcement is WRONG. ICE officers are now facing a 413% increase in assaults.”
