Two Children Shot by Two Suspects on Illegal Scooter in the Bronx Park

July 11 2023 BRONX, New York – Police say two suspects riding an illegal scooter pulled up to the park and fired shots at a crowd, hitting two children and two adults with bullets.

Four people were injured, including two children. Two brothers, a 6-year-old and a 3-year-old boys, were both shot in the leg and taken to St. Barnabas Hospital and are expected to survive.

A 25-year-old man was shot in the back and a 23-year-old man was shot in multple places about his body, both victims taken to local hospital and expected to survive.

Two suspects on the scooter fled the scene wearing all black and masks.

Incident happened at a park near St. James Park near 193rd Street and Morris Avenue around 5:45 p., police confirmed.
