Teen shot on City Bus in the Bronx

January 21 2023 BRONX, New York – A teenager was shot while on an MTA city bus on Saturday evening, police said.

Teenage victim sustained serious injuries, currently listed in stable condition at a local hospital, sources said.

Incident was reported around 5:56pm on an MTA BX5 bus near Metcalf Ave and Story Ave in the Soundview section of the Bronx.

Police have a pair of suspects stopped for questioning but arrests are unconfirmed.
