Teen Killed, Another Injured in Bronx Apartment Building Shooting Two Days After Christmas

December 27 2025 BRONX, New York – A teenage boy was killed and another was injured after a shooting inside a Bronx apartment building Saturday evening, according to police.

The gunfire broke out just before 6:30 p.m. inside a high-rise building on Adee Avenue in the Allerton section of the Bronx. Residents reported hearing multiple shots inside the building, later identified as Eastchester Gardens.
Police say the shooting occurred on the seventh floor.

A 15-year-old boy from Connecticut was shot in the chest. First responders rushed him to Jacobi Hospital in critical condition, where he later died. His identity was released by authorities.
A second victim, a 14-year-old boy, was shot in the arm. He was taken to the same hospital and is listed in stable condition.
The shooting happened around dinner time, just two days after Christmas.
