Teen Girl Stabbed To Death Outside Apartment Building – NYC

May 02, 2024 BRONX, New York – A teen girl was stabbed to death outside a Bronx apartment building Thursday afternoon, police said.

“The police been on the corner everyday… But, sometimes they not here.” said a concerned resident.

According to officials, a 17-year-old girl was stabbed in the chest in broad daylight outside a Boynton Avenue Apartment building in the Soundview section of the Bronx.

Police responded to the stabbing around 2 p.m, and located the knifed teen, with reports of multiple suspects fleeing into a nearby building.

CPR was given to the female victim by first responders and police requested a rush for the ambulance to 1105 Boynton Ave in the Bronx, said police radio transmissions.

The teenage girl was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead, officials said.

A trio of teens possibly connected to the incident were taken into custody for questioning with charges pending.

“Since the last shooting, like I said the police been on the corner everyday… But, sometimes they not here.” said a concerned resident who also mentioned that he spoke with the victim just this morning.

The investigation into the fatal stabbing incident is ongoing.
