Teen FATALLY SHOT by Citi Bike-Riding Gunman in Soho – NYC

May 06, 2024 MANHATTAN, New York – A teen was shot in the head by a suspected trigger man dressed in all black, who fled on a Citi Bike, Tuesday afternoon in Soho, NYC, cops said.

Upon arrival, NYPD officers located a male in courtyard outside of the 4 Star Dominick hotel with a gunshot wound to the head. The injured teen who reportedly attended the Chelsea Career and Technical Education High School across the street was rushed to a local hospital by EMS, where he was pronounced deceased.

According to police radio, officers responded to several 911 calls for shots fired in a courtyard near Spring & Varick streets.

Police are investigating if the shooting was school-related and if teen was targeted.

The fatal incident occurred just before 2:30 p.m., at 150 Varick Street in the Soho neighborhood of New York City.
