Teen Boy Shot Near Popular Melba’s Restaurant in Manhattan – NYC

April 07, 2024 MANHATTAN, New York – A teen boy, 16, was shot Sunday afternoon near the popular Melba’s Restaurant on Fredrick Douglass Blvd between W 113th & W 114th Streets in Manhattan, NYC.

According to police radio, the injured teen was transported by EMS to St Lukes hospital with serious injuries and is expected to survive after being shot at least once in the torso. 

Shell casing was located on the sidewalk next to a non motorized scooter along with a cane and was taped off then guarded by NYPD for further investigation. No reported arrests at this time.
