Suspect Sought in East Harlem Stabbing Incident – NYC

June 03, 2024 MANHATTAN, New York – Police are on the hunt for a suspected knife-man accused of stabbing another individual following an alleged dispute in East Harlem on Monday morning.

Stabbing incident was reported around 11am, near E 110th & 3rd Ave outside of the ‘Hay Bendito’ Restaurant Cuchifritos in East Harlem, NYC.

According to a witness who did not want to be on camera, a black male and a latino male got into a verbal altercation that turned violent when the latino male was stabbed.

The injured male was transported by EMS to an area hospital for further treatment.

No arrests as the suspected perpetrator fled the area, last seen heading northbound on 2nd Avenue wearing glasses, black pants and a sweater.

This latest stabbing incident comes just two days after a madman tried to stab a group of people on an East Harlem street near E 102 & 3rd Avenue and was shot by an NYPD sergeant. The injured suspect in that case is expected to survive.
