Store Clerk Shot and Killed During Smoke Shop Robbery in Queens

March 18 2023 QUEENS, New York – A 20-year-old store clerk was shot and killed during an apparent robbery at a Queens smoke shop.

Police say they are looking for three suspects who were seen running out of “The Plug” smoke shop at 109-27 Jamaica Avenue after gunfire.

Police Commissioner Keechant Sewell was seen arriving to survey the scene Saturday afternoon.
