Staten Island woman shot by teenage son, dies.

October 9, 2021 Police responded to a domestic dispute 911 call at 134 Burbank Ave. Upon arrival officers observed a 51-year-old female with a gunshot wound to the chest.

EMS transported the female victim to Staten Island Hospital University North, where she was later pronounced deceased.

Also on scene police encountered a 54-year-old male with a non-life threatening laceration to the chest. The male refused medical attention at the scene.

A firearm was recovered and the 18-year-old son of both victims, was taken into custody at the scene.
