Six Year Old Boy in Critical Condition with Scull Fracturs after Struck by Moped in Manhattan Park

June 19 2023 MANHATTAN, New York – A six year-old boy is left in critical condition after he was struck by moped as driver rode around a park in East Harlem

Child sustained multiple skull fractures, among other serious injuries during the incident on Father’s day, just after 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

Officials say that a man was riding a moped and struck the boy inside Thomas Jefferson Park on East 111th Street and 1st Avenue in East Harlem neighborhood of Manhattan.

Officials say child was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition, with multiple scull fractures and bleed in his brain.

Rules at the park gate state that motor vehicles are prohibited.
