“She Was the Victim for a Reason” Suspect ARRESTED for Pushing Woman Into Subway Train at NYC Station

January 27, 2025 MANHATTAN, New York –
A 23-year-old woman was pushed into the side of a subway train entering the 175 Street station at around 9 a.m., Monday morning in New York City.

Markeese Brazelis, 26, was arrested and escorted by NYPD officers out of the Transit District 3 police station to a waiting jail transport vehicle.

When asked of the suspect if he had anything to say to the victims family, the perp shook his head “no” and later followed up with “she was the victim for a reason” and blamed the incident on “voices”

The victim who fell back onto the station platform after slamming into the side of train was transported to Mount Sinai Morningside Hospital and treated for non life threatening injuries to her face, arms, and legs.
