Reports of Ammunition Found after Heavy Fire in Jersey City

July 3rd, 2022 – Jersey City, New Jersey (FNTV): Heavy fire broke out late evening in Jersey City home, just around 11:20pm on Ege Avenue and Mallaroy Avenue in West Side part of Jersey City.

Firefighters reported a heavy fire and downed wires at the scene, as the operation continued, ammunition was found inside the house, according to preliminary reports.

Fire was brought under control after nearly an hour of work by first responders, according to reports.

It is not known if anyone was injured at this time.
