Police control detonate fireworks, Set fire in New York

June 22, 2020 – BRONX, New York: As the NYPD conducted a controlled detonation on Rodman Neck to eliminate confiscated fireworks, a brush fire broke out and had to extinguished by FDNY and Nassau County marine units from the water. The NYPD had announced their plans of a controlled detonation earlier in the day, warning nearby residents that they may hear explosions related to their activity
