Off-Duty NYPD Officer Shoots Two, Kills Her Ex Partners New Lover

Wednesday October 13th, 2021 According to police, just after 5 p.m., off duty NYPD officer Yvonne Wu of the 72nd Precinct in Brooklyn, fired shots at both her ex partner and a woman she was with. The shooting occurred inside the ex partners home.

EMS transported both victims who were shot in the chest to Maimonides Hospital. The officer’s ex partners wound was determined to be non life-threatening, however the woman she was with was critically injured and died of her injuries.

Off-duty officer Wu remained at the scene presumably waiting for police response. She was taken into custody. Charges are pending a further investigation.
