Nearly 100 arrests after Protesters Occupy Trump Tower to “Free Mahmoud Khalil”

March 13 2025 MANHATTAN, New York – Over 100 protesters from Jewish Voices for Peace were arrested at Trump Tower this morning, after occupying it.

Group chanted and held signs that read “Free Mahmoud, Free Palestine” and “Fight Nazis Not Students.”

Shortly after, activists group Rise and Resist occupied the Tesla Showroom in Meatpacking District of Manhattan.

Police declared the sidewalk outside of Tesla a “Frozen Zone”, dispersing the group into a march across the crosswalks.
