Man Stabbed and Killed on Brooklyn Street

October 8 2022, BROOKLYN, New York – A person was stabbed and killed early Saturday morning in a Brooklyn street.

Police say at approximately 1:30am, police responded to a 911 call of an assault in progress in front of Franklin Avenue home,near Lincoln place. Police say they found a 35-year-old male, unconscious and unresponsive, lying on the sidewalk in front of 778 Franklin Avenue, with stab wounds to the body.

EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to Interfaith Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to officials. There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
