Man Shot Dead in Target Parking Lot – BRONX

November 26, 2023 BRONX, New York – A man was shot multiple times in the parking lot of a Target in the Bronx late Sunday evening just before midnight.

According to police officials, Raymond Resto, 49, was in the Target parking lot when a blue BMW pulled along side of Resto before gunfire erupted. Police say several individuals exited the vehicle and opened fire striking the victim multiple times including in the head.

The critically injured 49-year-old victim was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center where he later died, police said.

Bags of chips and a red jacket could be seen laid strewn in the lower level of the Throggs Neck Shopping Center parking lot where the victim is perceived to have been shot.

As of Monday morning NYPD detectives are still searching for a gunman involved in the deadly shooting at 815 Hutchinson River Parkway in the Bronx.

Authorities have yet to say if the 49-year-old was the victim of a random crime or if there was a motive involved. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
