Man on Subway Tracks Fatally Struck in The Bronx
February 22, 2022 – Bronx, NY: Police are investigating after a person lying on the subway tracks was fatally hit by an approaching 4 train near the Bedford Park Boulevard Station early Tuesday morning, cops said.
According to police officials, an MTA Train Conductor observed an individual lying on the tracks but was not able to stop and struck the person just before 2:00 a.m. as the Manhattan bound 4 train was arriving at the station.
The victim, who’s identity has yet to be determined appeared to be homeless. The individual died at the scene, police said.
The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
