Man is Dead after Stabbing outside Fashion Institute in Flatiron District of Manhattan

August 31 2022 MANHATTAN, New York – A man was stabbed and left fighting for his life near 7th Avenue and W 27th street early Wednesday morning.

Stabbing was reported just after 1a.m., in Manhattan’s Flatiron District. The heavily bloodied victim was found near a subway and just across the street from the Fashion Institute of Technology. He was rushed to an area hospital and he is now pronounced dead.

Detectives are searching for the suspect who fled southbound on 7th Avenue and the investigation into the deadly stabbing is ongoing.
