Man in Critical Condition after Being Shot in the Head in Chelsea

November 27 2022 MANHATTAN, New York – A man is in life threatening condition after he was shot in the head in Chelsea, Manhattan.

Victim was shot near W 17th street and 9th Avenue, rushed to a hospital in a critical condition with a gunshot wound to the head.

Police say the 44-year-old victim was shot in front of NYCHA’s Robert S. Fulton Houses at 400 West 17th Street, just after 9:30 p.m. on Sunday evening.
