Man Cut With a Knife, Pepper sprayed by Panhandler after Refusing to Give Money on Manhattan Train: NYPD

October 12 2022 MANHATTAN, New York – A man was cut with a knife and pepper sprayed by a suspect while on a subway train in Columbus Cirlce Manhattan early Wednesday, cops said.

Incident occured around 1:30 a.m., on the 1 train that approached the 59th /Columbus Circle station, officials said.

The 57-year-old victim was allegedly threatened then cut with a knife and pepper sprayed by a panhandler after refusing to give him money, police said. He was treated for a small cut and pepper spray, police said.
