Knife-wielding Man Drags His Mother by Hair to ATM in Midtown, Two Cops Injured

November 26, 2023 MANHATTAN, New York – Russian man with a knife, allegedly dragged his mother by her hair to a local ATM in Midtown “I’m gonna kill her” as passerby’s looked on in horror.

A crazed individual wielding a knife was placed in an ambulance in custody in Midtown Manhattan around 8:30 Sunday morning after allegedly trying to drag his mother by the hair to an ATM and threatening to kill her, witness reported to Nypost.



Two NYPD officers were reportedly injured after responding to a stabbing report on W 43rd Street near Times Square, officials said.



According to police, the pair of officers were injured while taking the suspect into custody, one officer was reportedly slashed in the hand while attempting to retrieve the knife from the suspect and the other suffered a leg injury.
