Knife Assault in Queens Elmhurst Subway Station

An assault with a knife occurred just before 7:30pm Monday evening in the Elmhurst Ave Subway Station in Queens. The victim’s injuries were non-life threatening injuries, police said.

This attack comes amid a weekend spike of subway crime. Blood could be seen pooled on the ground near the station booth. According to NYPD, officers are searching for assault suspect that may be armed with a knife.

There are no arrests in this attack incident. The investigation is ongoing.
