Innocent Woman Bystander Shot Outside Apartment Building in Harlem – NYC

October 29, 2024 MANHATTAN, New York – A woman innocent bystander was stuck by a bullet outside her apartment after gunfire rang out Tuesday afternoon just blocks away from Central Park in Harlem, cops said.

According to an eyewitness and neighbor of the victim who did not want to speak on camera, a young male on a scooter and suspected shooter got into a verbal dispute with a group of males near W 113th St. when shots rang out. 

Shortly after 2pm, police responded to 911 calls for a person shot near w 114th Street & St Nicholas Avenue in Harlem, Manhattan. 

The injured woman who is in her 40s was taken to St Lukes Hospital for further treatment and is expected to survive after being shot in the left leg. 

No arrests at this time as the investigation into the shooting incident is ongoing
