Homicide Suspect, Accused of Killing NYPD Assistant, Found Dead in Brooklyn

May 11, 2022 | BROOKLYN, NY: At approximately 7:50am the body of Pedro Cintron was discovered with a self inflicted gunshot wound to the head, police said.

According to NYPD, officers located the body of Homicide suspect in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Cintron was wanted for the deadly shooting in Ridgewood Queens that took the life of a 51-year-old female NYPD administrative assistant on fresh pond road on Monday.

The investigation into both separate shootings remains ongoing.
